My favourite new one is using the oncoming traffic lane on 10th street to go through a backed up intersection and then sit next to the fully stopped lane attempting to get back in.

Heeeey, not all of us are bad. It’s the A & Os that are the problem.
You can add these to the bingo card:
- Signals two feet before, or even after starting, a turn
- Rolls through a stop sign or red light when making a turn
- Doesn’t get up to the speed of traffic when merging
- Needs to evacuate the merge lane immediately, regardless of how long it it. This is worse when it’s a new lane that goes on for several kms.
- Pulls in the opposite direction before turning, sometimes leaving their lane to do so.
- Slows down or stops too early and blocks a turning lane.
- Never, ever, accelerates beyond a glacial pace in a timed turning lane. You’re the reason yield on green is going away.
- Takes it personally when they get passed. I’m sorry you feel slighted when my beta minivan goes faster than your alpha truck.
- Any other situation where you are hindering other peoples’ ability to get where they are going because you feel your time is more important even though you’re the one who missed a turn or can’t figure out another way to get somewhere.

It’s amazing how bad Uber drivers are. Cabbies were always pretty awful but Uber drivers have dethroned them as the worst on the road.

Don't forget Skip the Dishes driver as well! I think a huge part of the problem these days is that taxi, Uber, Skip and a lot of drivers are just glued to a screen for GPS instructions.
This is a byproduct of people losing their instincts on how and where they are going when they drive. I am one of the rare people that virtually never uses GPS unless it's absolutely necessary. A little bit of homework and writing some instructions down helps a lot.
A lot of these nitwits are just braindead going by what the screen tells them. Skip drivers who consistently who walk into businesses for orders that are not located there. Uber drivers without any sense of direction. A recent taxi ride I had where I gave specific instructions where to go without an address but I knew where I was going. He was beyond defensive about getting lost. If your a professional driver in Calgary and don't have a clue about one of the most popular neighborhoods is (Marda Loop) your beyond useless. Ironically he had been a driver for years.

I was driving the other night and I was about to call 911 because I was sure that the guy I was following far behind was smashed. I didn't want to get too close, because I didn't want to be involved in a collision or anything, but I caught up at a red light. The guy was an Uber driver though, and just completely brutal.
One of my friends had an Uber driver who had been in Canada for three days before Christmas. That has to be illegal.

I doubt the guy behind the wheel was an actual vetted and licensed driver. He was just driving a car for a friend or family member to get paid.

Had the exact same experience on my way to a NYE party.
I know people were saying “5% is too low” when talking about people who don’t know how to drive but I’m not talking about bad drivers, I’m talking 5% of people who literally don’t know how to operate a vehicle and don’t have a legitimate license.
Also watched a guy park on one side of 17th illegally with the hazards on, and then proceed to cross to the other side through traffic (at one point standing on the yellow line as traffic when both ways past him) to pick up a delivery order. These people are insane.
I don’t even know how they begin to do something about it. But it’s become a total disaster.

Half of the time, it seems they can't even follow the directions the GPS is giving them. I usually have to tell them "you'll want to get into the left lane" because they seem completely clueless that left turns need to be made from the left lane, nor are they aware that the arrow is even telling them to do such a thing.

I've said it before but it's getting worse; The temperature in coolers at liquor stores. I shouldn't have to put the beer in the freezer when I get home to get it down to a drinkable temperature.

I propose "bonus points" based upon the speed at which people run stop signs granted they were turning right so hardly attempted to slow below 30. Oh and if soon after they pull a u-turn as well without indicating. Oh and immediately before running the stop sign weaving down the middle'ish of a 2-lane road (albeit partially snow covered) almost taking me out more than once. Seemed at least 1-2 other people inside and what looked like 2 dogs?
Yah that was my 1030am drive today.
sigh...

Can we do the rural driving version?
Like immediate dismissal of all rules of the road as soon as a furry thing is spotted. Such as (specific instance) tourist chick stopping completely on a single lane highway with a line of cars behind her forced to a halt, not even pulling over to stand up out of her sunroof and film a bear while ignoring honking and forcing everyone on a timeline to drive around her on the shoulder as she finished her retakes (and possibly a selfie).
And of course minivan drivers traveling 10 under in the left lane of the major highway for like 20+ km in spite of aggressive drivers weaving two feet behind them and every one else trying to give them strong hints to move over to the right to let faster traffic through. Just cluelessly puttering along while their blissful ignorance creates backups for miles because semis and slow commercial vehicles are eating up the other lane.

This reminds me of when I lived in Prince George and got a cab home. Cab Driver was in far worse shape than I was. Big purple nose and it smelled like a distillery. First he ran into a snowbank missing his turn at the end of the alley...buddy and I pushed the car out for him...than he went thru a red albeit in an empty intersection, caught a rut and hit the curb hard. Screams eff me. I asked him if he'd pull over and we ended up hoofing it home for about 3km on a brisk -20 night. Never took a cab jn P.G. after that...DD or walk.

Every now and then Skip send me a $10 credit, I always just use it to get a piece of cheesecake delivered to my house. After all the additional fees and tip it just ends up being the same price as picking it up myself, but at least I didn't have to go out.
