Curious what the ads bring in. Maybe a group of us could all donate whatever the equivalent ad revenue would be for the next couple of years so we can go ad-free for that time?

If it ends up being a technical issue then yeah, but the only thing I do is make sure the ad embed code is in the site. After that it's the ad provider that manages which ads come up so any specifics around ads I don't have any access to.
If he wanted to set up something where someone could pay a subscription to go ad free then yeah I would enable that feature on the site.

Fair enough. I just remember last time when everything went crazy with ads screwing up everyone's browsing ability on PC and phones Bingo had mentioned he doesn't know anything about that stuff and to talk to you if there were any issues or complaints.

The ads are really intrusive. Randomized sound engagement, pop ups you can't close because the icons too small.
Chrome on a cell phone is not this new adwares speciality.

Yup these ads are trash. Take up most of the screen while also forcing the page to jump around horizontally and vertically while zooming in on the ad so much you can't locate the small arrow on the left to minimize it. Great stuff

Yeah trying to browse on my phone or post is infuriating right now. In a way maybe it's good...it's enough to make me not want to come to the site they suck that much. I'll go out of my way to never support any of those advertisers.
