Nice to see the 3on3 specialists lose one. That team has been getting all the bounces of late. Hope this is a start of a slide.
Should be noted that those darlings have to play a back to back tomorrow. But, again, don't you worry as the team they face will also be on the second half of a back to back. I've never seen such "luck" when it comes to scheduling.

Back to backs are either at home with no travel or against another tired team, or both! (i.e. the senators game just last week - both tired, and oilers don't have to leave home).
Don't even have to face normal adverse situations most teams experience.

Their B2B is also in the same area, unlike the Flames, who have SJ to VGK.

After considerable and self-reflective deliberation, I have concluded that E=NG.

Don't the Oilers have the most miles travelled almost every year?

It’s when those miles are travelled that is important. They virtually never have to travel significant distance on B2Bs.

Burt wouldn't that be evened out by having to travel the most of anyone in the NHL?

I don't recall any recent seasons where they traveled the most miles. Could be wrong though

In a way, the Pacific Division now has a travel advantage over the Central. Six teams in a nearly straight line down the Pacific Coast (with a little jog inland to Vegas) make it pretty easy to schedule divisional road trips. With the Central spread out from Utah to Nashville, and Winnipeg to Dallas, teams are bound to rack up a lot of air miles for in-division games.

Just seeing highlights where sieve Skinner is whining about his mask being loose on the winning goal. Then shake it off *sshat. Oilers always whining about something.

The Oilers never think they lost fair and square. It’s always a bad call, travel fatigue or the other team playing too hard.

Yeah, because it's totally fair when the other team dogs it and lets you win just because you're so special.
Like, every team that plays the Oilers should let McDavid score eight goals a game like he was Putin playing shinny. Then he would be nice when they come around to the dressing room after the game and beg for His Royal Oiliness's autograph.

It's hysterical that high compete level from the opponent has become a (go-to) excuse.

Former Oilers goalie Dwayne Roloson was a pioneer for shaking his helmet off. May not have been the first but he made it popular.
