Brutal two minute drill.
Those second and third down plays were brutal. I don't understand why they wouldn't just try to for a couple high percentage throws to get into FG range.

Rams aren't going to lose to the Cards.
Seattle would then need to beat the Rams next weekend and have 4 teams win a bunch over the next couple week (that Seattle previously beat) / a bunch of teams lose (that the Rams previously beat) to have Seattle get a stronger strength of victory as the 4th tiebreaker over the Rams.
Some of those teams are already in the playoffs, some are meaningless games.

Chicago should be handing Ben Johnson or Joe Brady a blank cheque.

What exactly has Poles done to not be shown the door at the end of this season? Eberflus was a disastrous hire and then he doubled-down on it this year and may have ruined Caleb in the process.

Tough to argue. He could be getting fired this year.
At the start of the year though, he was in his 3rd year after starting off without a 1st round pick and did what everyone was saying he should, in tearing it all down.. so really how much ripe do you give a guy who was tasked with scorching the earth?
He definitely has his bad deals (nate Davis, chase claypool) but he has some good ones in there as well. He needed to address the offensive line and failed miserably

What I saw tonight from Caleb is the same thing I saw at USC. All hero ball. It doesn’t work in the NFL.

Short sighted look at it
If ypuve watched any games this year it's pretty obvious if there is 1 thing that ISNT the problem it's Caleb

It's funny cause really the only time he looks good is on the off-schedule stuff, when it becomes pure arm talent and improv. When he has time with on schedule throws he's either missing guys with bad throws, or bailing out of decent pockets instead of stepping up, which leads to hero ball and of course where he ends up taking bad sacks. And that would be the one thing that worries me if I was a Bears fan. We're at the end of the year and he hasn't really had much development purely as a QB like we've seen with the other QBs, GOAT Nix in particular, where you can see improvements in footwork and processing. Caleb is still getting by on just pure arm talent, hasn't really shown signs of getting better at being an NFL QB.
Now Bears fans will cling that if he develops then the sky is the limit, but seeing as they might be the single worst franchise in NFL history at QB development....yeah.

That 2 minute drill was among the worst I have seen. He doesn't look capable of leading it. Zero development and no help from the sideline. Sorry, Bears fan

Coaching matters a lot. Peyton knows how to coach up QB’s. Who’s coaching up Williams in Chicago? It’s basically the same as Fields where he just didn’t get good coaching and never improved as a pocket passer. Bears should be rolling up the money truck to Johnson and hiring a GM that he would like to work with.

The kickers career long was 55. I believe if he had kicked it was 57… why not just go for the kick.
