On Christmas yes. Waking up at home and than needing to play Football later in the day is the ultimate flat spot. On U.S. Thanksgiving Detroit and Dallas are used to it by doing it every year so they have plans for it.

Netflix in America full of ads. 'International' Netflix no ads. I VPNed abroad and enjoyed it much more

The AFC is pretty clearly a 3 horse race as one of Baltimore, Buffalo, or Kansas City will be going to the Superbowl. I'll be happy to see Baltimore claim the 3 spot and set up a second round matchup with the Bill's.

I'm pretty sure the Bengals will cry and moan when K.C. pulls an Ole with Denver next week to let them claim the 7 seed. But I think all three of Baltimore, Buffalo, and K.C . Would rather let Denver in the tournament over Joe Burrow. As much as I'd like to make Buffalo have to deal with Burrow...I think the Chiefs would rather let Buffalo have Bo Nix and let Burrow watch on T.V. although in the long game..letting the Bengals in and not getting Zac Taylor fired might be the better move.

Given the dominance of the NFL in getting massive live (and young) audiences in the US, expect even more ads on the NFL in the future. Netflix was supposedly charging around $5M for eight 30-second spots for its NFL games (which it paid $150M each).

The NFL pulled in massive numbers. Even the NBA was up in ratings and had great games.

The NHL seriously needs to get its #### together they don’t have to play on Christmas Day but zero reason these players should get Boxing Day off. The ratings are in the toilet for them as well. So give a bunch of teams a week off when they will get 2 weeks in February as well.

The Xmas break is negotiated in collective bargaining. It was a concession for something else.

At one point, not that long ago, they played on boxing day but that meant players, coaches, training staff and support staff, all travelled Xmas day. Usually it was the Canucks or Oilers for the Flames as I remember going a couple times.

Its not a big deal to not have hockey for 3 nights this time of year IMO.

As for ratings...welcome to the world of streaming and NFL dominance.

Its not the product that is reducing TV viewership, its being in the digital era, and a freight train with a shield on the front that just cannot be stopped.

Well I think you will get more eyes on the product during this as the NBA and NFL showed yesterday. Those players have to travel as well but I don’t hear any complaints from them.

The NBA and NHL are in the same position ratings wise plummeting. NBA had a great slate of games yesterday.

Al Michaels mentioning Pete Carroll as the rumored HC candidate for the Bears is hilarious. Would be such a Bearsy hire.

This is a serious contender for worst game of the year. Can't think of a worse one really, at least other bad games have had some comedy factor, this is just ugly.

Do not blame Williams for always stepping out/sliding early. 66 sacks so far is enough hits tobtake

Good work drawing themselves offside

You have to go for this, even at 4th and 5. There is zero chance otherwise
