While its also Spurs being Spursy, this Forest team is not to be overlooked. They aren't where they are by accident.

Honestly, Forest didn’t look that great. I know that sounds like sour grapes, but it’s really not. They hit us for a pretty soft goal and we just rolled over. It was as much a poor display from Spurs as it was anything they did.

Bruno decided to quit early and Wolves just scored directly from a corner. That was a beautiful goal, nobody defending and Wolves just cranked it in.

And capped it off with a two man breakaway against Amorim's patented 3 CB system, none of whom were there to be found.

Amorim...

If not for that gift from City a couple weeks ago United would only be five points off the drop zone. Amorim has a fairly gargantuan job ahead of him.

just fire this squad into the sun and play the U18s. At least they'd have some hunger and spirit.

Wolves now have 4! 4 Wins! Ah, ah, ah!!!

I did not have Bournemouth above City around Christmas on my EPL bingo card.

Its a damned shame that somehow Everton keep picking up points though. What will it take to relegate those bastards?

Well that was a good win for Liverpool, I'll take it.

The Egyptian King in fine form, Gakpo was good, the midfield of Mac Allister and Gravenberch once again very, very good.

If Darwin ever finds his scoring boots Liverpool will be in great shape!

Van Nistelrooy however, has to sort out his back line and midfield cover. Twice they played fast and loose with that line and got caught out, by the barest of margins mind you, but for a low-table team thats a dangerous strategy.

I don’t know what to think. I mean we ended the game with Archie Gray and Yves Bissouma playing CB, which obviously speaks to the injury crisis we have. At the same time, Ange outside the initial 10 games last year has not been good. Sure, we’re in the semifinals of the League Cup…but we’re against a team where we conceded 6 goals last to week. It’s just getting a little more difficult to support the guy as this drags on.

I mean if it weren’t for United and their struggles, all the attention would be on how disastrous things are with him.

We need Global Warming to raise the sea level and submerge all of Manchester.

the good thing in this scenario is that the Earth will have long ridded itself of the Scouse plague once the water reaches Manchester.

If a 9 point lead against one of the sports preeminent chokers doesn't count as breathing room, I'm not sure what does.

That is assuming Liverpool win the game-in-hand. At the moment it is merely 6.

If Saka weren't out until March there might be more to fear. But short of a Liverpool injury crisis this thing is pretty much over.

Yeah. Over a long time of watching EPL I've learned that its never over 'til it's over.

City are garbage right now and Arsenal have some injuries and Chelsea are a wildcard, okay, but...lest we forget...the January Transfer window is about to open. Changes may be afoot.
