Also why are the lights on newer cars set with a default energy intensity of the sun?

Auto high-beam assist is friggin' sweet. Don't even have to turn them on; if it's dark AF, turn on the high beams. If headlamps are visible, turn 'em off.

They even make auxiliary lights with the same functionality now.

I had a rental Ford, and whenever the high beams turned on near a road sign they'd light it up, think it was an oncoming vehicle, and turn right back off. Found them annoying, but that's probably a manufacturer issue.

The worst is waiting at a light and the car across from you has their high beams on, and there is no real way to signal to them, without getting every other car involved thinking that you're telling them they have their high beams on.

They've defeated half the reason one would opt for fast food in the first place (fast + inexpensive).

Between it sucking now and getting healthier I've cut most fast food chains from my routine, but I do occasionally miss being able to get a full combo with a single patty burger for $7 or whatever it was not all that long ago (a decade maybe).

The best bet for an adequately priced meal at those places now is getting the chain's app and seeing what their value deal for the day is and just redeeming that.

There’s about 4 different burgers at Wendy’s near the $12 mark: Baconator; Dave’s Triple; Bacon Deluxe Double; and Bacon Deluxe Triple.

Perhaps their real-life size is not indicative of their names, but wolfing any of them down in 2 minutes seems like competitive eating level stuff.

Looking at the Wendy's app, the most expensive burger they sell is the Bacon Deluxe Triple burger, which is $11.89. It has 1220 calories, which actually makes it their best valued burger on a price per calorie basis.

There is also ways for you to adjust your headlights. Youtube it for your truck/car. Looking at you truck owners with levelling kits

There was a fire truck parked right in front of the store sitting there empty while the fire fighters were shopping

I had lunch with several firefighters who warned me they may have to dart out fast if a call came in. They have an arrangement with the restaurant. Sure enough, they get a call and they’re out. Lives and property can be lost by a very short delay. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Then leave the full size firetruck at the hall where a full contingent of firefighters are instead of taking it to buy groceries and parking right in the front of the store during a very busy day.
