WRGMG about myself is I partially close things.
I try to close them but everything is half open.
Cupboard doors, drawers, lids on things: everything is half open all the time. The lids are the worst. If you pick something up by the lid, and I was the last to touch it, that thing is going to come off and you have a real mess.
I don't know why. It wasn't until I was living with my ex partner that it was brought to my attention. And then I realized how pervasive it is. And how annoying.
And yet it continues.

Along similar lines, people in my family leave the butt ends of the bread in the plastic bag and leave it on the counter, or put it back in the freezer. Then they crack open the new loaf.
If it wasn't for dad, we'd consistently have random bread bags with butt ends in it floating around.

Because of if you gave 100% on things that don’t matter, then maybe you should on things that do. But we don’t want to that. Might as well go 95% and then no one laughs at you. I do the same thing now that you mention it.

My wife does the exact same thing.

My wife does the same thing but with TP. She will never replace the roll which is just a minor annoyance, but if she uses the last roll in the bathroom she won’t grab more. I’ve been up #### creek a few times because of this.

Here's what you need to do. Go out and get some magic mushrooms, you will want the strong ones. You will need a sober friend to assist. So you take the mushrooms, and then your friend convinces you that leaking out of every open drawer or cupboard is santorum. He'll have to be able to do this convincingly, and perhaps have some props. Have you close the open drawers before santorum leaks. He can make a bit of a game if it, so you have to act fast, and decisively.
Once you sober up, I suspect you will never leave a drawer open again.

My wife does the same thing. I don't know how many times I've cranked my shins on her dresser drawer at night time, or dropped a container of something because I grabbed from the top and am left holding only the lid.

Same with mine, though it's got better since it happened with a nearly-full Costco sized mayonnaise and made a huge mess and we had a serious conversation, lol.

Yes. You can even put condiments on it with the gaping holeys. Ciabatta is for oil and vinegar and maybe some ham.

Also restaurants cutting costs with filler and drizzle. Went to The Office (terrible name). Got pork belly tacos. A single 1” square wafer, quarter of a centimeter thick with mounds of red cabbage “slaw” and all sorts of drizzles. Complete garbage. Everyone else disliked their meals. Tacotime would have been ten times better. Pork belly should be rich and flavorful and fatty. Not a piece of big chief beef jerky. Terrible restaurant.

I dont like to waste food but unfortunately its the just the nature of our society.
So when I order something at a restaurant I usually just get the fries as a side. Because if I know the main course is going to fill me up, I have no qualms with wasting potatoes. Who cares about potatoes?
I genuinely feel bad for wasting a salad or vegetables, but potatoes? They're everywhere. They'll get over it. Besides, the kitchen staff will probably scarf those before they go to waste.
But man, America.
That poster that was complaining about not wanting the drink from McDonald's? America is insane.
Portion sizes. They're nuts. I went to...I think it was a Sonic, which was a mistake in it's own right but we'll brush that aside for the moment.
Order a meal and the guy is like:
"If you get this meal, it comes with 3 burgers, large fries and this impossibly enormous drink and its $5 cheaper."
Who the hell do I look like? Eddy Hall? I cant eat all that!
"Yeah man, but it's like $5 cheaper than what you wanted and you get way more man."
I don't want it.
"But man, its like....$5 cheaper."
Fine. Give it to me.
I eat 1 burger, a few fries and barely make a dent in a Coke the size of a small lagoon. The rest just gets tossed.
But it was $5 cheaper.

I hate wasting food too, so I eat the fries or other sides first. If I feel full, then I can take the entree home for later. I’d rather eat that later than old fries.

Thats interesting. My dad always taught me the opposite, to eat the primary part of the meal first as it's prepared by people who know what they're doing, its hot and its not going to get better than where you're at.
Dont worry about the rest.
Yeah, so I'm the guy that eats the entree first, because thats what I came here for.

I hate how it's impossible to find unsweetened iced tea unless you make it yourself. Pure Leaf unsweetened was my go-to for years but they discontinued it during covid. If I'm at a store or restaurant and want a cold drink with no sugar/sweeteners that's not water, apparently that makes me a crazy person. In this one area the Americans definitely have it right, hard distinction between iced tea and sweet tea, and both are readily available

Unsweetened Iced tea? Why dont you just drink swamp-water like an animal?
Plenty of it in those ponds on the side of the highway.

Isn’t unsweetened iced tea, just cold black tea? You’d probably find something at T&T or H-Mart. Could ask for tea with lots of ice.

Man, on a hot day there’s just nothing better either. I’ve gotten over it but the lack of proper iced tea in Canada is just beyond weird to me.
