I hate that we missed out on this. He might never hit that ceiling of #2OA but I feel like he still has the tools and so much runway left.

2019 draft looks brutal. Cozens probably going to be traded for 3rd rounders.

With Cozens and Zegras both as potential trade candidates, that would make 7 of the top 10 getting moved. Crazy

Awful draft. Looking at this return I have some spare change in the couch for Cozens and Zegras.

And Seider was considered a reach at the time.

So many players had 1-2 great years and then fell off.

And it goes well past pick #19
20 Heinola - struggled with injuries
21 Poulin - waived this year
22 Bjornfot - waived a few times, and claimed once or twice iirc
23 Holmstrom - decent
24 Tomasino - now in Pitt
25 McMichael - breaking through finally
26 Pelletier - remains to be seen, but waived this year
27 Nolan Foote- traded to NJ and only 25 games so far
28 Ryan Suzuki - 0 NHL games
29 Brayden Tracy - 1 NHL game, now overseas
30 John Beecher - maybe a 4th liner
31 Ryan Johnson - up and down between NHL/AHL

Judging from that list, the guy that we should go get is Turcotte. Only question is how he bounces back from injury, but at least effort level and natural skill is there. Let's go get him. Hanley, a 3rd and a 6th!

Remember buying low by sending over Andersson and we might have to add ? Lmao
They would need to attach a 1st to that scrap to get anything decent.

How many guys from that draft would we be willing to trade Wolf for, straight up?
Hughes
Boldy
Caufield
then it gets pretty dicey

Best players outside of the first round are probably Vlasic, Macelli, and Protas. Weak, weak draft as a whole.
