Seems like either the Flames medical staff is being more stingy on injuries this year or else the team’s conditioning is like total crap. So many guys banged up.
Hopefully it’s the former, it will let the team get more of a look at guys who need one.

Hard to play playoff style hockey every game through the regular season.
Having to play that way to have any chance of winning takes a toll on the body.
Would not be surprised if there are a number of Flames players that have nagging injuries far earlier in the season than they normally do.
Might also contribute to their trend of giving up completely once they see they have no chance of winning.

Yeah, the Flames have been pretty lucky injury wise the last few years. They were due for something like this.
