Lol difference is I don't post any of what I post on hfOIlers. Nor will I ever feel the need to.

The media zealots interjecting in twitter conversations that have nothing to do with the oilers to ask why they've forgotten about x oiler player allll the way down to their fans flooding this and other boards (usually with pretend Flames fan accounts) speaks a lot more to that.

Never seen a fanbase exhibit such poor form in both losing as well as winning. There's a whiny little diaper-soiling Kevin Lowe in every Coiler fan.

Full credit to Stang for (apparently) not supporting the Oilers since the Stan Bowman hire. As expected the rest of the fan base has already forgiven and forgotten Bowman's past transgressions and are fully onboard with their support again.

Okay I was generalizing. There are exceptions on the forum for sure, but Stang wasn't one for me.

Not being on board with Bowman feels like it should be a given, but I think the extent of their dispute with the hire was all of 24 hours following the news. And even then, there was little push back. Appears they're fine with being a swamp.

Been here the whole time. Just strangely silent when the Oilers were behind the Flames in the standings, which has been for most of the season. The second the Oilers move ahead of the Flames the Oiler knob gobblers come out of the woodwork.

It’s pretty funny because if you are lonely or bored and want to spend a fun afternoon on the internet, just post something that challenges Oiler players’ or the team’s supremacy.

It doesn’t even have to be critical!

For example…Matthews is the greatest natural goal scorer in the league. Or Crosby is the most skilled and therefore valuable team player in the league today. Or McDavid is not even close to being a top 3 player to 1,000 points in games played. Or McDavid not even in the top 3 youngest players to reach 1,000.
