Yeah I watched the second and unfortunately Parekh did not have a good period. A couple whiffed passes on breakouts, needed to be a little harder on a couple retrievals.
Hoping for a bounceback third to remind everyone what he can do out there.

Gibson was the only defender who really stood out. I though Allen was the worst of the bunch.
Parekh, Price, Mynio, Dickinson were all ok. Parekh had one or two ugly shifts in the 2nd but was otherwise decent against a much older and stronger opponent. Not really a game that catered to his strengths. There was not a single PP the entire game.

I mean if Parekh is competing for a spot they want to give to a stay at home dman then he’s essentially already cut anyways. You bring him to use on the powerplay and rush the puck. He’s not going to make it over a more physically developed, older defender, for a defensive role. They are polar opposite types of players.
