What a weird market when it comes to their media. And always has been.

not a word out of place
that is also why this makes this perhaps the most excellent example of anything the 'inner circle' has ever produced. its a master class

specifically a first round F from the Holloway draft- mission accomplished! replaced at a discount rate with a 3rd rounder to boot
next acquire the rights for Lassi Thomson , and they have their Broberg still in the pipeline

Recent signings: Perry, Arvidsson and Skinner
Recent trades: Podkolzin, Perrault, Savoie, Kapanen (waiver pickup)
as the most recent examples, but their moves always seem to have that flavour. It's like they don't even have any player evaluators, they just go by name recognition.

Oh I was 100% serious lol and I agree completely with you - they've had shiny-new-toy syndrome at least as long as I've watched hockey and from everything I can tell it probably goes back further than that as well.

I’ve always been convinced Katz or Katz jr or maybe even Lowe are the actual Gm and Holland and company were just figureheads offering advice when needed. I don’t think we’ve seen other teams make as many unusual moves as the Oilers have.

When you renew your hockey news draft issue, you might as well use it!

Ex coaches and management were at fault.
Current coaches and management are geniuses but they didn't have enough time.

Holloway with his 9th tonight in his return to Edmonton where the fans booed him and Broberg mercilessly. They should be booing their management.

Oilers should be on pace to play Vancouver (hopefully with Demko) and Vegas in the first two rounds these playoffs. They won't have the Mickey Mouse playoff race this year. I can't see them getting pat those two AND Winnipeg or Dallas. Last year was their one chance.
I wonder how long it'll be till they think of putting Arvidsson on LTIR to cheat the cap?

I fully expect Connor's dog to get a management position in the very near future.

Follow up question coach, any comment on McDavid's and Draisaitl's lazy efforts on the back check.
Dog Coach - Long rattling atomic dog fart followed by a 3 foot pile of dog poop. Then he growls and attacks the reporter"
Actually I want a first ever dog coach in NHL hockey and not the disney comedy version of it.

Still can’t believe he brought out his dog, there is no chance anyone in the league has any respect for him.
