But Arsenal can survive without a striker if they can force 20 corners a game. Get the fastest player on earth, hump it to the back line and have him go get it, draw the defenders in to kick it off them for a corner, profit.

Great for Liverpool but looking at the stats on the boxscore it seems as though Arsenal got jobbed. Way to go Fulham!

Arsenal aren’t getting jobbed.

They’ve got the players that are able to control the game in almost every aspect. But the game is about outscoring your opponent.

Without a striker, that is very difficult to achieve. It’s been a glaring weakness for at least five years.

coaching Heerenveen in the Eredivisie. Got beaten 9-1 by Alkmaar earlier in the season, but seems to have turned somewhat of a corner since.

The myriad of errors in this match have made it a very fun one.

The ref is chatting with players on the corner while Cole Palmer is just being drowned in trash being thrown by the crowd.

Its kind of hilarious.

Can any Spurs fans explain why they are showering debris here? Seems odd.

Maybe he expressed some interest in becoming a Refuse Management Technician for Greater London and then reneged on that decision in order to become a professional footballer?

But the Spurs guys really...where did they even find all that trash? Did they bring it with them? Where did it come from?

Maybe Ange is a good manager, maybe he's not, but I don't think even Jesus could win at Spurs.

Still need more convincing that Chelsea are serious contenders. For now I remain mostly of the opinion this race is already over and Liverpool will coast.

Chelsea are serious contenders. They’ve a vast pool of talent, a settled team, a good manager with all the resources they need in all areas of the pitch and they have no commitments in any major European competition.

Their window is wide open.
