I would say so, yeah.

Oh boy
Well
Then your team will end up being full of old players who once had a good season but are no longer good enough……
Wait a minute…….

Skinny boy not as much, but he’s more valuable than his stats are from this year.

Lol, when it mattered most in game 7 of the Cup finals last year, your two best players didn't bother to show up in the most important game of their lives. So by that measure, perhaps your golden boy McLotteryball shouldn't even be on the 4 Nations roster.

And yes, this is the Oilers at full throttle. What we're currently seeing is exactly what they are. A mid-tier bubble team with a slow, aging roster and two superstars carrying the entire load as per usual. Sure, they can beat a bunch of bottom feeders and non-playoff teams, but as soon as they face off against a legit playoff calibre team, they end up getting their asses handed to them more often than not (3-8 against playoff teams so far this year.)

You said all the same things last year. They finished far from mid-tier. When the flames lost in game 7 of the finals they had a 20 year reunion on 960 for it. It’s an accomplishment. But go ahead and keep underrating the oilers.
