Lol, when it mattered most in game 7 of the Cup finals last year, your two best players didn't bother to show up in the most important game of their lives. So by that measure, perhaps your golden boy McLotteryball shouldn't even be on the 4 Nations roster.
And yes, this is the Oilers at full throttle. What we're currently seeing is exactly what they are. A mid-tier bubble team with a slow, aging roster and two superstars carrying the entire load as per usual. Sure, they can beat a bunch of bottom feeders and non-playoff teams, but as soon as they face off against a legit playoff calibre team, they end up getting their asses handed to them more often than not (3-8 against playoff teams so far this year.)
