So the suites don’t have washrooms, and there’s only 89 urinals?

99, plus I think I missed a couple.
Still, for overall washroom spaces, its probably 3x the saddledome.

Flames room looks bigger to me...red vs. green

The total space allocated to the Flames is much larger, but the actual dressing room is smaller. The Wranglers' room has 28 stalls and the Flames' has 26.

So is the "community" rink a defacto practise rink?

Also note, the WHL and AHL share some rooms, in what I have highlighted, they are all assigned to the AHL.

Yes, it's all part of the scam to get provincial money into the building while they can say it's not going to build the arena for the Flames.
The rink will have some publicly available ice times, but if the true goal was to build a downtown rink for community use, there would be better places to build it.

Standard arena/stadium play book. Always have a "community rink/field" in the proposal to help swindle cities out of millions of dollars for an owner, then value engineer the "community" part out after deal is reached. Community rink becomes team practice rink.

How many more years would you say the Flames should have played in the Saddledome for?

The NHL visitor dressing room will act as the Roughnecks change room when they play at home. The amount of amenities in this place for the players is ridiculous. Kick around room? How spoiled have athletes become these days….

Well the threat of having to practice at Winsport will no longer hold value.
At least a new building will help the new Culture this team has seemingly embraced already.
We're long overdue regardless. Too bad it'll cost too much for this hockey fan to go.

At least until the pieces of ceiling falling down were three times the size.

Sadly, except for baseball the real fans don't go to many professional sports games anymore.

I go when the Flames come to CA. It's maybe $50-$100 for a decent single ticket and probably $40 for some food and drinks. A couple times a year to see my favorite team, seems fair.
I don't know why people are hooked on going to every single home game though. That would take the excitement and joy out of it for me.
