I doubt they have many options. The teams probably interested in him are bottom feeders with cap space. I highly doubt a true contender would be interested with a $8 million 6/7 dman.

All NTC clauses (afaik), have a set amount of teams that player has to agree waive for...that list is often submitted yearly, and then all other teams are fair game to be dealt to.

Isn't the difference between a full NTC and partial NTC is that the latter includes the list and the former does not? I thought it was a bargaining chip in contract negotiations whether an NTC will be full or partial and if there's a list, how many teams can be on it.

I assume since the Rangers are reportedly threatening to put him on waivers if he doesn't accept a trade, the teams they have acceptable offers from are on Trouba's no trade list.
