Apparently Starks getting pulled from GCW is more to do with GCW going out of their way to #### talk Tony at every opportunity.
I thought Moxley had a major hand in a lot of his booking but if he doesn't he has every right to be unhappy. It's been atrocious and he's been atrocious in putting it on screen.

I thought that when Moxley went to AEW is because he got creative control. And I had great hope when he made that video after he left WWE. Instead we got Stone Cold Jon Moxley, and just not very exciting ideas, and a bunch of extreme wrestling.
I'm wondering if Tony looked at the ratings and the viewership leaving as soon as Moxley's music hit and took that back.

The whole "company take over angle" is well over played. The last good use of that angle was The Main Event Mafia in TNA. I'll give to to AEW though, they're trying to build some long term story telling, which is a pathways to building a solid view base.
I've never understood the love for Moxley. Could be personal taste, just I always like wrestlers over brawlers. The punch kicky stuff never does it for me.

That's probably it. His promos don't do it for you either?

Again it's all personal taste. He obviously has charisma, but it's style of substance I don't always understand the point he is trying to make.

Does he have charisma? We haven't seen much since he arrived in AEW.

I see HHH and Steph just dusted Shogun off their PVR. Cool entrance for Shinsuke.

That Woman's war game was a lot of fun. A couple of botches including a bad one Between Io and Candace. That lead to a butt slap.
Overall a really solid survivor series with lots of drama in the Men's war games as they continue to make Jacob Fatu look like a terrifying Godzilla.

Thought both War Games were a bit sloppy (especially the women's) but in the end they achieved what they needed to.
For me though this was the perfect opportunity to have Tiffany cash in.
She should have pinned Nia right after the Powerbomb through the table and really done something we've never seen in War Games which is cash in on a teammate.
Overall an okay PPV...I really thought that Rock would come out tonight to start the build towards Rock vs Reigns and it makes me wonder if they are thinking about another direction (Cody vs Rock; Reigns vs Punk)

I was hoping to finally see The Rock live tonight but I still have a chance at WrestleMania.

The Hayman Punk favor angle is interesting.
Do we get some sort of a tribal chief hand over on raw?

Weird PPV. No Cody and no Seth. You'd expect them to show up even in cameo roles. Also, WWE treating Solo locking the cage as a huge deal, when it had no roof and was very easily climbable, is the type of booking that would get AEW (rightfully) dragged on here.

Cody has a match with Owens at Saturday Night Main Event. Seth already said he's keeping out of the Bloodline's Business. Why would Seth show up in a match where he literally has no friends on either side? Roman mentioned last week that he wants nothing to do with Cody and Seth, that they're "old news". I don't see how this is bad booking, they addressed both of them on Smackdown a couple weeks ago.
SNME and that first Netflix Raw are being treated as PLE's on their own right, so those shows will be stacked. With them running PLE's with only 5-6 matches a night, not everyone makes every show. Locking the cage was irrelevant, but it gave Roman a cool entrance, and you rarely see him taking dives off the turnbuckle.
Finally got my wife to sit down and watch a few matches, she absolutely adores Roman. She doesn't really care for the others, but the way he composes himself and "works" is a level above the rest. He's never been the best in-ring worker, but outside the ring Roman just "gets it". He nails all the small things, and makes everything seem real.
I loved watching his interactions in the cage and the various looks he gave Punk. I hope they reference how Punk wanted someone else for The Shield (Rollins, Ambrose, and Kassius Ohno)... that Punk thought Reigns was too green, and not the right fit for the stable. Turns out at the time he may have been right. Reigns was the weakest member during the groups birth, if anything Ambrose stood out the most as the groups mouthpiece/leader. Then when Rollins turned on the group he became the star for a period of time, at least until that awful Hell in a Cell match (against Wyatt) when the crowd began to turn on him. Once Reigns aligned with Heyman that all changed, today he's become the biggest name in the business, and proven Vince right.
Now Vince probably didn't have much to do with the rise of Roman Reigns. The credit there goes to Roman, Heyman, Triple H, and the other members of the Bloodline. He's come a long way from "suffering succotash" and being covered in dog food to where he is now. My wife says he could be a movie star one day, it'll be interesting to see how he does in The Pickup, his first real starring role in a movie. Can he be the next Bautista to make it into Hollywood after his wrestling career ends?

That's a really long post, for a thesis, that is essentially "My wife would bang Roman Reigns."
Don't, worry, buddy. I got you. Of the girlfriends I've had, ever since getting back into wrestling, 2/3 of them would have run through me for Roman.
But you know what? That means 33% ladies think this chud ass, middle-aged loser is first on the menu.

Looking at Reigns, he was the weakest part of the shield, and then when they made him a main even face he struggled.
I'd add on the name of one John Cena in the genesis of Reigns, during their feud Cena basically exposed Reigns inexperience on the mic and his struggles with promos. When they turned Reigns heel and brilliantly put him with Heyman, they gave Heyman a list of shortcomings on the personality and even on the work rate side of things.
Heyman made and Reigns completely changed the way he works in the ring, everything slowed down and became deliberate and Reigns learned how to milk the crowd. Even his facial expressions became elite.
It was enough for Reigns to bar Punk from leaving the cage, but he didn't say anything and just looked at Punk with disdain, it was a micromoment that was brilliant.

The WWE will be very interesting with John Cena returning.
If I had to book his return I'd love to see him lose to Gunther in a long feud.

Honestly I would too. I think its a great fix, John can hand over the torch so to speak, and Gunther can give a older Cena a really good match to remember him by as a member of the GOAT community.
