Avs look like garbage tonight. Just an absolute piss-poor effort so far.

Ekholm cross checks an Avs player and somehow the Avs player gets the penalty , for crosschecking.

This is insane. Andersson violently cross checked no call.

Ref sees an imaginary cross check, Oilers PO.

Haha, does McDavid seriously not think that was a penalty on him.

Utah blows a 2-0 lead last and loses to the clown Oilers last night. Tonight they remember how to hockey again and are hammering Vegas 6-0. The Oilers good fortune knows no bounds.

Ron of course asks if McDavid deserved the obvious penalty

I look forward to the day they send MacLean to the curb. That's one cost cutting measure I anticipate. Nobody seems to like him.

Seriously, what's with teams constantly not showing up or just sleepwalking their way through games against the Oilers? Avs are a much better team than this. They should be demolishing these clowns. At least put in an effort FFS.

Colorado came out like gangbusters but MacKinnon got slashed in the hands on a breakaway. No call. McDavid ran interference on the play that led to the first goal. It's as easy as that. Just call the games even and the Oilers go back to losing.

I'll give Oilers credit. They played good defensively. Didn't give Avs anything

Ugh, looks like we’re gonna have to avoid any hockey media over the next couple of days. The “Oilers are back/Cup favourites” talk is gonna be off the charts annoying.

I am often amused by how Oilers fanboys insist that teams bring their "bestest A game" against the Oilers, playing them "like it's the Stanley Cup Game 7".

But the few times I do watch Oilers games, I see opponents not showing up. Not playing. Not playing with any sort of fire or competition in them. I really wish that teams would stop laying down for the Oilers.

Yep, same thing happened 18 years ago. It was over the top with the consensus that the Oilers were coming back.

Yep, the Avs were 16/53 in the faceoff circle. Yikes!
The same goes for the Knights, they were 19/51.
