I think the Flames will be a bottom-5 team by the time the season is over. And then hopefully in line for number one overall next year. That’s the ideal scenario.

A shake up. Even a minor one.
A few days ago I think it was Royle who suggested watching the Blackhawks and's the Flames. Others suggested Kurashev for Kuzmenko. If something like that is out there, you do it.

Again why?
Edit: I would only be interested in deals that improve the long term state of things

Game isn't going to be any easier Tuesday with also the emotion around the Gadreau family being around.
Millen is right, need to get momentum early on the trip.
Flames got up on the Sens and had them on the run, but then a terrible goal challenge decision kills the momentum, gives the Sens a gift PP. Ottawa then got 3 goals before the Flames got another 6 shots.
They haven't held a lead, nor really been in any of the games since.

Literally my first line answers that. If you just want to wait and let this play out that’s fine too. My opinion, if this team wants to contend, you need to change things.
My read from Conroy is that they will try and make the playoffs. They want to contend.

I thought Ottawa was the better team even before Calgary scored
By a fair margin

I thought about doing a Juju post, but if the players can't be arsed, why should I?

Making any deals where the goal is to try and make the playoffs is the wrong mindset in my view

Rebuild is fine.
Floaty play by our highest paid players is what we've lost patience with.
Score all the goals you want when the game is lost.

Fine, but the Sens were a fragile team, having lost 4 prior, some after holding leads. Calling out Tkachuk.
Flames getting up on them deflated them, as evidenced by a second near goal soon after. Giving them a lifeline flipped that momentum around and the Flames haven't recovered 3 games later.

They would be idiots to try and contend this season. But it would be a very Flames thing to do.
