You're too old to either type or spell mountain. Possibly both.

Oh I can still throw a football 50 yards. But then I need about a week for the pain to go away.
At the start of every season I tell my QB's that I coach that have maybe 5 throws over 15 yards for the year.

I'm 41, but I'm feeling like a goddamn zoomer reading this thread. Is the median age of CP 60+ now? I can't think of anything I can't do now that I was doing 10-20 years ago, I'm actually better at sports than I was a decade ago because I workout more now, which has also kept the soreness at bay. After reading some of these posts I think I'll up the gym regimen a bit now too, I'm starting to believe that whole "a body in motion stays in motion" proverb that a lot of active seniors espouse
Hell my hangovers are even better now than they were in my 30's, I'm much more aware of keeping my hydration levels up during booze nights so a single Advil after waking up usually sets me right pretty quickly

They're never accidental.

That’s a good one. And to be able to throw a quick rifle really fast. Not so fast anymore, and the motion kind of hurts.

Not having to watch/think about sun exposure.
Rather than just tan nicely, starting a couple years ago skin just decided it'll freckle/make sun spots in response to sunlight instead.
I had blemish-less baby skin prior.
Oh well.

I can still start things... I just don't have as much runway ahead of me to develop them, and that sucks.

Living as a urban 20 something "man on the land'.
There was an elegant convenience to move into whatever sh-thole basement apartment was available close to wherever you wanted to be and make do with a foundling couch and a couple of milk crates.
Even if you were super-high end and owned one, your car needed a push start and was always out of gas, and if she wouldn't go you would be either fixing it with the help of a friend of a friend or pulling the plates off it and leaving it in the ditch.
Job? Hell, if you lasted 2 weeks you were FLUSH. Lots of 2 week gigs out there for those willing to get their hands dirty. All with the long term "goal" of a month in Thailand that never materialized because the concept of filling out a passport application was way too much government interference.
Life is better now.
But I don't laugh myself to sleep nearly as often.

The Garden Salon on Macleod offers something called a Tibetan Monk Treatment especially for the hairless. Scalp massage, aromatherapy and a couple of other things. My friend goes all the time.
