Went last night and it was great! We saw it 9 years ago in New York, and I’m surprised how much we forgot. Definitely interesting to watch the crowds reactions to see if they knew what they had gotten themselves into. Cast and sets were fantastic! Would go again in a heartbeat.
They do need to work on there sound mixing a bit. Not sure if it was the orchestra overpowering the voices, or some distortion from the mic’s, but we had trouble picking up all the words from our floor seats. Fortunately we knew the gist.
Also, not sure when the Jubilee seats were designed, but they aren’t made for today’s average BMI. I’m 6’ average frame and I can stay in my “zone” if I compress a bit, but the 5’ tall beach ball beside me overflowed her seat and made no effort, so I had to sit twisted the whole night. Very uncomfortable.
