It’s funny because it’s so irrelevant but some leaf fan on twitter said that nylander would be the best player on many teams. Now if some random oilers fan or really any other team fan replied it’s like a million other conversations on the internet. “Yes’, “no”, “yes”, “no”, etc.
Who steps up…and apropos of nothing says “so is drai”?
Jimbo Matheson steps up to defend Leon’s honour, even although there was nothing about anyone other than nylander!
Noted HHoF inductee Jimbo backing the player that he himself called “pissy”.
What an inferiority complex. Even in the media, on some random platform when it wasn’t even remotely about the Oilers, comments are found and oilers are brought up.
No good.

Until McLoser leaves the Oilers for greener pastures, the media will continue to proclaim them Cup favourites, no matter how mediocre that garbage team is.
They're not even in a playoff spot right now, and yet the clowns at SN were still jerkin' each other off after the Oilers beat a completely disinterested Rangers team like it was game 7 of the Cup finals. It's beyond pathetic.

The league and the marketing department is doing absolutely everything to make Mavi the face of the league and "faces" of leagues are supposed to be champions. They will continue to paint that narrative and give the Oilers every break possible to try to make that a reality.
