In the words of the inimitable Darth Vladar....they are 'Hungry Bastards.'

I like it. I like it a lot.

If the highest paid member of your organization is dogging it do you just shrug your shoulders and 'Let it go?'

According to Bob Stauffer everyone in the league coming through Alberta is going all out after Edmonton and tossing softball at the Flames. So since no one is trying against Calgary...might be hard to lose. Thanks buffet Bob.

Same thing they said when the Flames finished second overall in 2019 and won the Pacific in 2022.

The Flames wouldn't be winning so much if the Oilers weren't so good.

Probably why they start their backup goalies in Edmonton.

Conroy did always say it's a retool not a rebuild... I doubted that but maybe if we get half way through the season and they are still right up there maybe he was right.

Getting three defenders from what were viewed as useless side pieces on trades and a waiver pick up is insane.

Never doubt the guys trades again. Bahl and Miromanov look like they're both worth firsts.

His pass on Zary’s game winner Thursday was elite

Regardless, I have a feeling Zary will be the spark he needs, ala Pelletier (except better). Huberdeau needs a centre who can engage the O-Zone with speed and Zary can do that and more. I thought they looked great together today.
Yeah, just skating around is just not accurate. He almost scored two and almost assisted on a couple more. People are actively looking for mistakes from him, and complaining about pretty minor stuff that happens every shift to all kinds of players.

He looks better with Zary. And Zary looks good with him too.

It looked grim there, Vladar had to stop Boldy and
kirkwood had to score. They both happened, amazing comeback.

I think this is the third game in a row where the Oilers have played the backup.
