The constants

Death, taxes and Minnesota teams are boooooooooooooring.

I predict a 1-0 flames win in the 15th round of the shootout.

Probably doesn't help the Wild that it's a 2:00 game. I suspect he will take the day off.

15th round? You're very optimistic.

Vladar will be very motivated. During the shootout Huska will be brandishing a Klingon Pain-Stick and threatening him and shooting Vladar 'The Eyes.'

Vladar, when the Wild come to town.

They might have to call somebody up from the wranglers mid game to score a goal.

Hopefully Huberdeau has checked the scopes on his open net stick.

Theoretically, though, since it's Sportsnet, there is no guarantee that streaming will work for you inside the region. Expect crickets from tech support if it doesn't work.

Also Gustavsson has the lowest GAA in the league. That's an individual and team stat. They play a really strong all around defensive team game and have a very good goalie back there when things go wrong.

Just an incredible talent. When Kaprizov was injured last year they were pretty mediocre without him. With him they seem to be an elite team.

However, they do seem to be a bit of a PDO team so far, so their record is probably a bit inflated.
This is the thing for me, with respect to the rebuild. If you are deep, have a solid D core, and goaltending, you only need one elite offensive talent to stir the drink. I'm not saying you'd instantly be a dynasty, but you can be a legitimate contender.

Add Kaprisov (or someone like him) to the Flames, and the Flames are as good as, if not better than, the Wild.

Minnesota is like Nashville and the Islanders …. Watching these teams is like watching paint dry. Expect a low scoring boring game and the Flames are due for a loss. So, 4-1 win please!

Everyone keeps saying Minny is boring. Yes, they have always been boring. But Kaprisov is one of the most entertaining players in the league.

Hope he plays well because I think it reduces our chances. The wild are dynamic offensively (not sure ive ever said that phrase lol).

This might be one the goalie has to steal for us, unless they relplicate their effort from last game.

If the Flames can beat Minny with Vladar in net the whole roster can have confidence they can win against anyone in the league on any given night. I’ve liked Vladar ever since the Flames traded for him and would really enjoy watching him excel and then get flipped for a nice return at the deadline.
