Shane Wright lacks any real dynamic skill, he doesn’t have great size. He is pretty average all around. In junior he was able to out think the opposition, but that hasn’t translated to the NHL.

Weegar for Shane Wright and their 1st (or Miettenen, Sale, Firkus, Rehpkoff, or Catton instead of the pick)?

I would have taken the other angle if you were looking to take some sort of dig at Treliving. You could have made some snide remark about Treliving overpaying for Lazar or Hamonic or something. Total missed opportunity on a take no one here has heard before.

Truthfully, he got burnt on a few and hit hit a few out of the park. If there is a deal to be had for the two teams, it’s up to Conroy and his team to get good value. Just like any other GM.

Jesus, I don’t think I would do that. Weegar should be a top dman for the next 5-6 years at a reasonable contract. There is almost no chance that Wright is anywhere close to the player he is.

Sure treliving. We’ll give you Kadri for Cowan. Otherwise take a hike

Kadri for anything that isn’t a salary dump is a win for me , then just sign someone for 7m in the offseason .

It isn’t like Kadri is outperforming his contract nor young

You can get another Kadri as a UFA by overpaying the same way you got Kadri in the 1st place

Would Kadri for Fraser Mitten + Robertson be fair? I don’t know. He could be considered an anchor contract right now but could also be coveted by a few teams. Not sure.

He's no Connor McDavid or Scott Niedermeyer but once of the worst you've ever seen?

You must not have a desire to be taken seriously with such outlandish comments.

Kadri hasn't been great and won't get much better going deeper into that contract.

It would be a great time to offload him as long as you get a center back because we can't afford to lose any more guys down the middle with Schwindt already getting plucked by Vegas.

Weegar’s 10 years older. Ten.

It’s not like Seattle is knocking on the door of being a cup contender.

Toronto has nothing of value really.
Nothing that jumps out at you in terms of game changers, just more depth pieces.

Well I wouldn't expect a Kadri signed until 38 to return a game changer anyways.
