The democrats are spineless, and republicans have used that to bully them into submission time and again for at least the last 25-30 years. Just look at Obama's first term, he had large majorities in both houses but still bent over to republican demands on the ACA, and democrats failed to get a number of their other policies pushed through because they let the republicans push them around. Yet when the GOP has both houses, even with smaller majorities, it's free reign and they can do whatever they want. It's pathetic

Kenny doesn't impose rules, morals, restrictions...anything on how he plays. He plays to win and wins almost every time. Lies, cheats, misleads, brings in help...whatever it takes.
Spenny imposes these rules on himself. Doesn't like using aids to win. Works extra hard to do the 'right' thing. And loses basically every time. And then Kenny gets to humiliate him for being the loser.
Democrats are playing a game with self-imposed rules and Republicans are just playing to win. Democrats are the better people, for sure, but you can't do anything good if you keep fkn losing.

The problem with both sides acting like children is that the entire system falls apart once you lose faith in it. I dunno how you get around that, but running with two Kenneys doesn't work either.

I stay away from seed oils and have since I was a teenager (decades ago). Do they cause harm? Maybe. Are they safe? Maybe. There is zero conclusive proof they are healthy and zero conclusive proof they aren't. But why use them if safe and healthier alternatives exist? It makes zero sense.
This logic in isolation holds up. The problem in application seems to be that there are about 100,000 rabbit holes of a similar nature that you need to go on if this is your criteria for risk management. Beyond food, there's building supplies, garden chemicals, manufactured good byproducts, environmental hazards, workplace hazards and a billion other things.
If you're truly going to invest time and money into reducing health or early mortality risks, it's not likely you're optimizing for the actual biggest risks you face if you've gone down to the level of considering different types of seed oils.
Not to say you are necessarily wrong about the seed oils, but just speaking to what a monumental task it is to not have risk blind spots at that granularity, and the math probably comes out to these types of risks being statistically insignificant compared to the risks we pay no heed to.

I was thinking about the same thing as well. Eggs were good for you, then they were bad for you, then they were good for you again. Or maybe it's just the big egg farma manipulating us like how the tobacco industry used to.
It's hard to know what is real and what is not when it comes to these things, especially when at least half of it seems to come from click bait sites.
