It’s funny how some non-scoring guys are just good at those. I remember years and years ago a goalie finished first or second in the Flames internal skills competition in the shootout.

Kirkland says he's done a lot of work on the shootout over the years.
Must have a tell on a goalie to figure out if the move will work as he's skating in or what the other guys have done. He's also gone late each time so he does get to see what the goalie likes to do.
