Lack of skill isn’t a coaching problem

Nice try captain Kirk. At least someone is trying to play a north-south game.

Flames waiting for a Isles mistake, a bad bounce, a broken play.

It's the only way we can score. We can't create offense anywhere near enough.

Just got to get a bounce. Also, Jake Bean is not good at pro hockey.

The compete is good. Goaltending is keeping us in games.

Read something on the TSN ranking the Flames play in the most low event games.

Low event games are not games the goalie keeps you in. Low events usually come from good defensive coaching.

Is Vernon in the building? Maybe he can liven things up by brawling with Roy again.

Flame tripped on a 3 on 2. No call.

The Flames are not defensively stout, that's insane. They are 20th in expected goals against per 60.

Huska's system is just plain bad.

I want a rebuilding coach to teach the team to play a better system that whatever insanity Huska preaches in the neutral zone. It's just plain bad.

When you’re trying to win every game 1-0 low event or not goaltending plays a major part.

Has there been a single hit this game? As in the slightest physical contact whatsoever?
