My main issue is he doesn't know how to leverage the strengths of his forwards.

We get rid of Huska when the team is ready to compete.

His main issue is most of the forwards are garbage, and hey guy, that isn't going to change with Rory Kerins.
It's a rebuild, ya'll can't be forgetting that already.

And yet he wins more than he loses, with this lineup.

He has the flames with a record 3 games above.500 and in a playoff spot.
It might not be that pleasing to watch but the results are well above expectations.
If Calgary opens it up, relying upon its sharp shooters, they may never win another game.

Problem is there isn’t a lot of strengths up front. This team has to outwork their opponent and cash in on opportunities. They aren’t winning games on pure skill and talent.

They are missing two prerequisites to win on skill and talent.

He has had a great goaltending, that's what he has.
They don't need to open it up, they need to provide puck support on the breakout and not turn the puck over non stop because big the forwards and D blow the zone the second they think the Flames may have the puck.
It's a terrible system that bleeds scoring chances.

I don’t know if you heard the pre-game show before the Predators game, but Meghan Mikkelson was talking about how the average shot against comes from 37 feet and the Flames are 6th in high danger chances against per game. So, the Flames’ coaches are coaching the team to be stout defensively despite the lacklustre blue line.
I’m a Huska fan, and I hope the Flames aren’t quick to cast him away once they have more high end skill.

Your commentary really adds nothing.
We all know it's a rebuild. In the meantime, all we can do is bounce around ideas since it looks like this team won't be bottoming out with its goaltending. Knocking other people for spitballing ideas in a tough situation is just lame behaviour.
Why even post at all at that point, you just sound miserable.

So what’s the issue here ? We are rebuilding not trying to chase down 9th place.

What about chances for? Seems to come from the same spot.

That’s from goaltending, not Huska’s coaching.
