Are we talking EPL? Seems a bit hyperbolic.

I don’t think it is hyperbolic.

If anything, I undercooked it.

I feel that way every time I watch a game. I'm probably up to 5 in my life, and that's more than enough.

I am committed to watching two games a week, one u10 and one u12. Both kids come off the field thinking they played great and are super happy so I guess it’s worth it.

Awesome! As long as they have good coaching and no injuries then playing soccer as a kid was great!

Country music creeping into “regular” music stations. So terrible! There’s a reason country has their own stations at the nether regions of the dial. You have to want to go to that dark place.

Slide guitars, harmonica’s, fiddles and tales of truck woe say otherwise.

There’s alway been a range of country music, parts are more pop, some other parts are more rock. It’s always been that way.

Most music sucks in general.

First time I heard country music, it was so bad I thought it was British.

Exactly. And like most genres, it's rare the good stuff makes it onto the radio

Every now and then I watch that Rick Beato dissect the top 10 pop songs on Youtube for a laugh. It's crazy how manufactured today's music is. Almost all artists using the same bits of music with their voices all auto-tuned and ultra-lazy lyrics. I don't listen to any of that stuff so I'm not being angry old man here but it sucks for the young generations that will have this music as the basis of what they grew up with as it's just so empty and disposable.

I’ve seen Beato’s videos and I agree with his diagnoses of modern pop. But with Spotify, you can grow up with whatever music you want. Yesterday my teenaged daughter put on a playlist she made that included the Stranglers, XTC, Radiohead, T-Rex, and the Shins.

Even when we know a snowfall is coming, it just completely paralyzes the bus system. The school bus didn’t show up today, and my wife has to drive the kids to school or my son will miss an exam. This happens 6 or 7 times a year - the bus just doesn’t show up, period. I guess kids who don’t have parents available to drive them just take a sick day.

Eh, people listen to music for different reasons, and as long as they enjoy what they are listening to, who cares?

Yeah the fact that I can't play the guitar, yet learned half of Nirvana's catalogue kinda supports what you're saying.
