This basically is a must-win game for us, despite being on the tail-end of a B2B on the road. A regulation loss would mean the Flames having 8 standings points on us. With SC contending teams like DAL (20 pts), VAN (19 ), EDM (19), and COL (18) holding the other Western Conference positions from #5 to #9 (prior to tonight), that'd pose a nearly unmakeable challenge to get into playoff position for us. Looking for the top players to show up tonight:

Trotz should have gotten over himself and kept Duchene. I think we could have left our top line alone, Duchene could be better to get the new guys going and we’d have cap room for additional upgrades.

We will lose again. Until we learn to drive to the net with the puck, instead of relying on perimeter shots for a lucky tip in. And until we learn to stop the dumb turnovers. They better figure it out quickly, or this will be an expensive lottery team.
