This looks pretty good. I'm in for some ol' fashioned Clint Eastwood melodrama.

####.

That looks fantastic.

How long has it been since we've had a really good Court-Room Drama?

That looks intense. Clint still making movies at 94 years old. Amazing.

The man is crazy as a loon but he knows movie making. Him and Mel Gibson. That indeed looks good.

I must have missed something over the last 60 years, why is Clint crazy?

While not a comment on Clint one way or the other personally, Mulaney and Davidson reviewing The Mule is gold.

And he just lost his partner of 10 years to a heart attack while making that movie, she was only 61.

I love(d) M:I. But I couldn't bring myself to watch Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part I. It gave me these vibes:

I really wish they had kept them more one-off missions. But I'll probably watch that one and this one just to complete. They are always fun.

The trailers are always over the top, and each new one gives off "final chapter" and "culmination of everything before it" vibes to reel people in. But it's never the final chapter.

And yet.. I'm not mad.

You're not wrong, but that's not a bad thing. Have you seen all the others? I find the MI movies fascinating. One was so small and cool, 2 went off the deep end, and 3 killed it with Hoffman as perhaps the best bad guy ever.

I became indifferent after that until I had kids who demanded to see them all, and suddenly I realized I love them all. Every single MI movie since 2 is absolutely phenomenal imo.

MI2 is awesome too, it needs to be viewed through a pre-Bourne Identity, late 90's / early 00's action movie lens.
