Already interested to know about this Pentagon document that was just introduced to the record, which talks about the “immaculate constellation” special access program that they previously denied existed.
For those of you who roll your eyes at this topic because you know better, this can be an entertaining watch if nothing else - for believers and skeptics alike.

I think i know who those posters are that you are talking about.
When you think about the vastness of the universe, if there were intelligent civilizations that mastered light speed travel, it would still take them millions of years to get here. The chances of multiple advanced civilizations coexisting at the same time AND being close enough AND mastering lightspeed travel is just... nil.
Alien civilizations maybe existed billions of years ago. Or will exist billions of years from now. Or maybe then even exist right now, but they are too far for any contact. Even Andromeda is 2.5MM light years away.
It's a fun exercise.

Consider keeping an open mind as to what NHI might actually be. You might be interested to know that some emerging theories are that these UAP have been here a long time, well before us. They may not be from far away at all.
I don't consider myself a skeptic, but just someone who is currently unconvinced. I love watching stuff about it though because I would love to be convinced one day.

I will say this, this topic has come a loooooong way since the era of the stupid Fox alien/UFO specials of the 90's... and specifically, since 2017 from the NY Times report. Very interesting subject to follow these days for sure.

Didn't realize there was going to be another one. These hearings are cool, in part just to witness the topic break through the former stigma around it, which hasn't served our understanding or allowed us to analyze the data and accounts that are even out there from reasonably credible sources before now.
If we want to dispel the notion of 'visitations' or whatever then lets at least bring to light all the supposed evidence that's out there in a transparent way and try to debunk these events collectively.
And if for nothing else, just to satisfy our curiosity.

Possibly, but then I think about how there's still human societies on earth living in the middle of rainforests in mud huts with no outside contact ever that couldn't possibly comprehend how far the rest of the species has advanced.

Oh I totally get that there are limitations on what can be said in a public setting. However, there are much better questions to be asked than were brought forward today.
