Oof

Wish this team would pick a direction, if they’re looking to make the playoffs the brain farts tonight along with the dismal special teams are not gonna get em there

The Flames looked tired tonight. Just a step behind.
Vladar was very good. Kept us in the game.

21 goals in the last 10 games - which pretty much sums up our struggles. Not great hockey to watch.

Umm pick a direction ? It was a back to back and good start.

We don’t have the talent to overcome these mistakes. And our specials teams sucking are slowly catching up.

Our goaltending is keeping us in games.

Any team would be tired after that schedule. Not a ton to complain about tonight. Move on to the next

At least we’re back on Sportsnet so we can watch the extended post-game coverage of Connor McDavid

I thought they played as hard as they could on tired legs tonight. They went down fighting at least.

Zary - Kadri - Pospisil
Coleman - Backlund - Coronato
Huberdeau - Sharangovich - Kuzmenko

These lines next game please, it's our best shot at actually generating enough offense to win these games.

The effort was there tonight but clearly the more tired team due to the 3 in 4 nights with travel from Buffalo to Calgary to Vancouver.

Won’t win many games in which all of our points are scored by the 4th line. Vladar was the only good Flame, maybe because he didn’t play last night.

It was likely a mistake by Huska not to inject some fresh legs into the lineup. The Canucks were definitely a step faster. I still think that the effort was there and that what I want to see from them.

5 games in 8 days. Extended travel. 3rd game in 4 nights. Extended travel. Good for them for keeping in it.

Not sure what a few people are expecting. No team plays the same every night. The difference between the better teams and worse teams is how often they can bring that better game. The Flames don't have the horses to overcome exhaustion when chasing. They are who we all think they are. A bunch of hard working guys who aren't expected to win a ton of games, but aren't gonna get blown out. That's the best you can hope for in a rebuilding team which is what we were all clamoring for.

I would rather they win every night, but that ain't gonna happen. Still good to watch them give a ###. Not many passengers in this crew
