That’s one of the best periods I have seen Huberdeau play in a while. He was really engaged and making some beautiful plays at both ends of the ice.

Everytime He's healthy he's looked great. I get why he's the solid #4 center.

Good for Kirkland too, keep up the hard work.

Love when he 4th line plays north south and jams the net.

Fatigue looked to be a factor there. They need to adjust their shifts. The long change will be a killer.

3 in 4 with east coast to west coast travel is about as bad as it gets

Not a ton of complaints about that period. Vladar looks great.

I feel like lately Kadri has been trying to do too much. He needs to simplify his game a bit.

Not trying to be smart with you…

Explain “ adjust their shifts “.

Thought they owned them most of the 1st period.

Yup.

Only saving grace is it was an early game in Buffalo on Saturday, so probably got home at a reasonable time on Saturday night.

Kadri needs to get his head out of his rear. He’s back to being year one Kadri, and not the guy we saw last year. Frustrating.

Vancouver had a lot of offensive zone possession in the second half of the period. Flames looked tired, I’m not the only one who noticed.

They should shorten their shifts, watch for good times to change with the long change, don’t get caught.

I feel like that’s been Kadri all year. Frustrating and largely ineffective.

Kadri I don't think had made a single pass in the offensive zone in the past 5 games. He's gotten the blinders on for sure.

I really enjoyed that interview between Ryan Leslie and Don Maloney.
