What a fun game. What a fun year. Champions!!!!

In Canmore for the week, but drove in for the game. Such a fun atmosphere.

When are they going to do the draw for the champions cup?

Congrats to all you Calvary supporters on the long awaited title. If only every CPL club were so ambitious as your set up!

Shamit Shome is my unsung hero. He covered every blade of grass in the midfield. He took Bekker out of the game completely in the first half and Bekker had to go so wide left to get a sniff of the ball

He also made some nice passes to Musse in the first half in particular. I thought he played really well.

Diego was fired up today. The whole team looked like they really wanted this.

What a fantastic game. We played with incredible intensity in that first half and could have already put the game away.

Tobias was an absolute machine out there today, and agreed that Shome was also amazing. Probably Shome’s best ever game in a Cavs shirt.

Also easily the best crowd in Cavs history, so much fun!

Did anyone hear a confirmed attendance for yesterday? Again, I could have swore they announced 7042 over the PA, but I maybhave misheard them.

The eye test says there was hundreds if not thousands more than when it's announced at 4500-5000k. People standing every single place a person could stand, plus every seat full.

I heard something similar, and honestly it felt correct based on what I saw and how it felt there.

Every seat was sold, the grassy knoll on the north end looked beyond full, they added some “VIP” seats on the grass on the west side, standing room, etc. They really filled as many nooks and crannies as they could.

I’ve had more than a few people comment on my Cavs gear while out and about this morning. Great momentum in the city!

My wife won’t stop making fun of me for losing my voice at the game

CBC is reporting 7052. Sure looked like at least that many. Amazing crowd and so good to see the city supporting this team.

I’m a touch raspy myself this morning! My kids are laughing at me because they saw us going nuts on TV after the penalty and I can barely talk today. What a day!

Yeah, that was the announced attendance at the game. What would've been the next largest? I'm assuming that was against the Whitecaps in 2019? This seemed much bigger overall, and there were many more people.

The broadcast said over 7000 in attendance yesterday. I was at the aforementioned Whitecaps game and watched yesterday on OneSoccer. It definitely looked more packed yesterday so I think the number is legit.

Amazing work on the smoke at kickoff as well. Was that actually all sanctioned, or did we have some BYOS going on?
