I like the Barn Burner guys but don't like the pissing around before they get to the topic. I have a 18 minute commute and want to get to i!

Steinberg's afternoon show is great. I listen to the previous days show on the way to and from work every day.

Can't stomach the 960 morning show.

I generally listen to the first half of BB. The first 10 mins or so is ok. Once they get into Flames/hockey talk it gets better. I tune out once they get to the Pinder report. If you’re not watching, seems pointless to listen and probably not my bag all the time. After that it’s probably sponsor talk and events. I do like After Burner.

I find Flames Talk the best straight source for hockey talk specific to the Flames. I listen to the podcast version most days.

Morning show isn’t very good. They do get good guests, so it’s worth a selective listen. I don’t think Rusic has much of a clue and I’m not sure Rose can carry a show.

I've often wondered what kind of chemistry Steinberg would have with the Barn Burner lads. If Steinberg left 960 and went to BB? I'd probably never listen to 960 again

Anyone have any inside info behind the scenes at the Fan? Pat sounds like he’s been forced to way more dodgey when Flamesnation/BB comes up, now I see Pat teasing the podcast becoming video as well? Not to mention not having Pike back as a regular cohost like last year.

Smells like they’re scared

There's been hints peppered now and then on BB by Boomer and Pinder that Rogers was not happy that they left and started a podcast. Like Rogers may have gotten litigious about it.

My issue with Pat is that he takes 15 minutes to make one point and will repeat things, and say one point 6 different ways. It’s like 3 minutes of him talking a point that can be made in 10 seconds. You and Cami have the best chemistry on Afterburner IMO.

Sometimes when you host Afterburner with that other gentleman (name escapes me but I think he's from BC?) it gets a bit clunky. He's nowhere near as good as Cami (or you).

I couldn't be more done with AM radio. Your guys' pod is the way to go and keep up the good work man.

She was on global both as a news reporter and sports reporter. She's really good.
But there simply aren't a lot of good gigs now on TV or radio. Constant cuts, and pushing down on salaries. Makes it tough.

I love all of my co-hosts equally but I feel the most comfortable doing shows with Cami — she is maybe the most talented broadcast host in the city.
