Same here...

Anyone else absolutely hate the way telus webmail looks/works? It is in an archaic format that is not user friendly one bit... Man I need to switch back to shaw.

Why not sign up for a Gmail account and forward everything from Telus/Shaw to it.

That way you dont need to use either (both are pathetic).

Well, I rarely go to it. I have GMail receive all my mailboxes, except my work box. It works much better that way.

Anyone need an invite to Gmail? Only 98 left!

Edit: myk beat me like a rented mule.....

I think that I read somewhere that you don't need to get an invite anymore for gmail...that you can sign (or soon will be able to) up for it regular web based e-mails (hotmail, yahoo, etc).

I have one friend that his email is slow arriving (from a Kraft.com address). I'll get a reply from someone else in the email group and see his message quoted, but won't receive the original email for hours.

A lot of this is due to the spam Telus is trying to filter. On days when there is a significantly greater amount of span it seems their servers either bog down, or they delay mail to make sure their filters correctly handly it. It is still a PITA

go into your gmail account, then settings, then accounts and you can hook it all up there. you just need to do your pop and smtp set up and its done.
