Backlund won the draw clean and was making a break to give Rasmus target for a break out pass. He didn't expect Rasmus to get his ass tore apart by Lindholm

Pathetic Rasmus

Why are people blaming Backlund? Weird. How can he lose his man when we have a safe possession and Raz loses it with a poor play?

Okay.......I'm saying they are not a great team. Good start so far this season, still not a great team. Lack of high end skill will catch up eventually. If you think they're a great team, awesome.

He tried.

That play is 100% on Andersson.

All he had to do is send it up right boards and he had Backlund and Kadri both going that way and he over handled the puck.

No he didn’t. He was reacting to the play. There was literally nothing he could have done.

Outcome sucked, but man … 3 on 3 OT was absolutely one of the best rule changes in professional sports.

If Rasmus gets the puck to the corner, Backlund can easily go get it without issue or pressure. Rasmus doesn't need to get it into Backlund's stick when Backlund is behind his own net in OT.

Instead, skating back behind his own goal line, leaving the Bruins top player in front all alone?

Rasmus has the giveaway but if Backlund wasnt behind his own net no way Marchand gets two whacks at the puck.

That goal was entirely on Andersson IMO.
Yes, he should have done anything other than hesitate behind the net.

I do. They have heart and never give up. Good goaltending.

Hard team to play against.

Boston should have had about 10 minor penalties that game. What an absolute joke that non call was on Coronato. Clear as day, took away a very good chance at the game winning goal.
