People really think the next election cycle will resemble anything of the past?
Supreme Court will be stacked, state laws will be packed.

I sometimes look at the decisions with Ukraine and Israel/ Palestine as indicative at how Biden and Harris campaigned and ran America. There was analysis paralysis and a lot of dithering. Biden/Harris was very very ineffective at actually moving the needle in the way they actually said they wanted including Ukraine winning and a long lasting ceasefire in the middle east.
I don't know what will happen with these wars but I do think it will be a more forceful administration in getting what they actually want out of it.

This is sensationalistic. The oldest justices are already Republican.

I really hope the Canadian government has the stones to drastically increase support for Ukraine after this outcome. It's a situation where we as a country could potentially make a huge and lasting difference in the world.

Which means they'll retire and get replaced by younger, more conservative judges and the right will have a stranglehold on the SC for the next 20-25 years.

If you conflate old Republican with maga republican you are making a grave error.
Hell even old Republican has shown they are willing to subvert tradition and existing law for kickbacks, think of what a new generation of christofascist sycophants are willing to do with a full majority.

They think the grass is greener. Reality is it probably doesn’t make much of a difference. Most politicians are under qualified borderline criminals. They are all going to take your money and provide minimal value in return.
Whether you like them or not.

They already have control of the court. Suggesting that a Trump presidency changes this is patently false.

If they learned anything from this election, you don’t need a platform or intelligence, you need personality, good or bad… so they should probably run The Rock if they want to win… yes… it has come to this…
