Of the few Trump supporters I know, they claim they did much better under Trump from an economic and financial standpoint. The very short check I did into that suggested that Trump did have some high points here and there, but nothing that screamed economic wizardry.

I’ve been watching all night. They are almost in tears

It’s also amazing having to listen to them talk about how people in NY and California don’t vote because their “votes don’t matters” so Harris would have more votes in the popular if …. More people voted (and popular doesn’t matter anyways)

In defense of polling she reported the number she got following the methodology she was using. The easier thing to do would have been not to publish an outlier. That all the polling was herded together suggests that the sample processing done is very similar to each other or polls that show weird results aren’t released. We should see weird polling result. They should be combined in averages and that improves the results.

Young, male voters have moved significantly to the right. There is a vapid hole for this disenfranchised group, one in which snake oil charmers, quick fixes, and easy answers are their best remedy to get them through their days. Guys like Joe Rogan, Elon Musk and Andrew Tate have filled their mental voids and not in a good way.

I think NYU Prof Scott Galloway said it best - there have been societal changes that have disadvantaged young men, such as the lack of male role models and societal structures that fail to support them.

They just showed on the CNN map that most of the outstanding votes to be counted are coming from places like Philly, Pittsburgh, Allentown, etc. Pennsylvania is going to flip blue.

And young male (non university educated ) are seeing their traditional job markets disappearing and democrats don’t seem to recognize / care / communicate with them well enough

We will see. Let's go back to the last election where Trump started out way ahead and what happened? Everyone was saying he won and Biden took a beatdown. And then what happened?

Sadly, I think this is a growing demographic, and one that leans hard right towards strongman figures because of lack of real male identity with grounded belief systems in compassion and community.
