One of the funniest parts of election day now is the NBA takes the day off, but the NHL doesn't give a ####.

I imagine Trump's team right now is manically scanning social media to report anything that can be viewed as an irregularity to make a case for the election being stolen if he loses.

Ah! But not the Kids in Private School!!
Quote:
An uber-woke, $65K-a-year New York City private school will allow “emotionally distressed” students to skip class the day after the election next week — in an eyebrow-raising move that drew ire from parents, including comedian Jerry Seinfeld, whose kids once attended the elite institution.
The upcoming presidential election “may be a high-stakes and emotional time” for students, the Ethical Culture Fieldston School administration wrote in a newsletter to parents titled “Election Day support.”
Students will not be assigned homework on Election Day and there will not be any assessments on Wednesday, the email obtained by The Post explained.
Kids will also be allowed “excused absences” on Wednesday or whenever the election results are announced if they feel unable to “fully engage in classes,” according to the note, which was first reported by The New York Times.
The announcement prompted eye-rolls from parents, including Seinfeld, 70, who told the Times that decisions like this are what forced him and his wife to transfer their own son out of the out-of-touch prep school, nestled in the leafy and affluent Bronx suburb of Riverdale.
“This is why the kids hated it. What kind of lives have these people led that makes them think that this is the right way to handle young people?” he scoffed.
“To encourage them to buckle. This is the lesson they are providing, for ungodly sums of money.”

It all started because of that crazy period during Covid when the cops murdered George Floyd.
I forgot what happened while they went to the bubble, but another murder happened. A lot of players took a stand.
The NBA is predominantly black, and they mobilized to get the black vote out and get the racist out.
Don't think the NHL cares much.

I imagine they are actively posting fake accounts claiming to have perpetrated voter fraud.
You know ... so they have more to reference.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of those angry women are leaning conservative. The anti-vax movement was strong amongst females and virtually that entire demographic is voting Trump. On top of that a large number of young women are now leaning religious, that demographic is voting Trump. People overall may be becoming more secular, but a larger segment of young people, who would otherwise have voted democratic, are becoming extremely religious.
I think things are just too crappy economically for young people. Young people also don't generally vote. So to get them to the polls, they have to feel really passionate. I see a generally tired, fed up and apathetic demographic.
Trump is going to take this as essentially a protest vote. It speaks more about the Democrats inabilities than Trump's abilities. Hopefully, this is a wake up call, and the Democrats purge their ranks. The Democrats should be able to destroy a non-sensical convicted felon, but they can't.

It gives me hope Trump is talking about how the rigging is already taking place today. Makes me wonder if internal numbers are showing Harris strong this morning. But I’m feeling Trump wins today. Too many uneducated voters thinking Trump will snap his fingers making cereal and gas half price. Should be a good show either way!

This is another of his lame strategies. He can rile people up to come to the polls and also hedges his bests in the event of a loss.

I can't see how, if Iowa has shifted by 12 points towards Harris, and men have shifted 12 points towards Harris, that this isn't a ridiculous landslide.
Harris will win every swing state and some that were thought to be locks for the Republicans.

Has Trump won yet or are we going to WWIII?
Maybe they can storm the White House this time?
Where is Gerard Butler?

Just will chime in here. Growing up in California i have many American friends. Most of my male friends, who are a mix of whites and hispanics, are voting Trump. These are not people on the far right but people who say they were doing better financially under Trump then they are under Biden. They do not see any correlation that Trumps policies directly contributed to inflation. I expect Trump to win, I think he pulls out Pennsylvania. I was just there on a trip 3 months ago and the amount of Trump signs double the amount of Harris signs, not that it means much, but it took me by surprise. I think Trump probably gets to around 287 electoral votes. I would be happy to be wrong tho. Regardless I believe the gender gap in this election will be quite interesting to study for future elections.

The US is a strange place. If I was in a sea of Trumpers and was voting Harris I would likely keep that to myself.
