Tarasov let in 5 goals on the first 7 shots. Shocking they never pulled him.

Not that all of them were entirely his fault. The 4th goal was the only one that i think was on him for the most part, but at least a couple of the other ones I think most goalies would make a big save to bail out the team.

This looked a little like a preview of the Stanley Cup Final. Both teams look pretty good to start the year, and these games were both very close and hard fought.

Florida is a wagon again. Defensively a bit suspect and the PP needs to figure out who's going to QB it but I can see another deep run this year.

Bedard with a couple of spectacular moves in OT, hits the post in one, but does not score. Heading to a SO.

Hawks win with 3-2 in SO. Bedard does manage to score.

Hawks jump up in the reverse standings to tied for 4th.

Kings score as I type this... Hawks with 7 shots on net after two periods.
Chicago may not be as bad as you think. 10 teams have a worse goal differential than them. They have lost a number of close games. They aren’t a good team, but likely not the worse.

Broberg's leg bent in a way that shouldn't when Marner fell on him. That didn't look good

Crosby loves playing the Habs. He has scored again, 2-0 Penguins after forty minutes. Shutout watch for Nedeljkovic, fifteen saves so far.

Tkachuk with a goal, 2-0 Senators. Forsberg on a shutout watch too.

It is exactly one year ago that the Canucks shredded the Sharks 10-1 in the Shark tank. Will history repeat itself?

Some really bad takes on HNIC. Stop letting that Oilers fanboy on the panel.

Never thought id ever continue to agree with Bieksa more and more.

He knows what the code is way more then anyone else on that panel.

Its embarrassing listening to the others on the panel lots of the time.

Just gonna put this out there.

Currently, the Flames have a better record than the Leafs. That's with a 4 game losing streak in there.

Also, the Flames are just 1 points behind the Stars and Lightning with equal games played.

Who knows if it will even be that close at the end of the year, but 11 games is a decent enough sample size to say that the Flames will continue to be a surprising team all year.

Forsberg gets the shutout by making 22 saves. The Senators win 3-0.

No shutout for Nedeljkovic, but, the Penguins win 3-1.

The Predators are playing hang on with their 2-1 lead early in the third period. All goals were scored in the second period.
