Well, easy intermission talk.

Stop all the idiotic non-stop giveaways and start skating. Gotta score the next one.

Might be one of the worst periods I've ever seen a Calgary Flames team play. Just listless, sloppy, poor skill, weak physicality you name it.

Mr. Backlund. It's game 1000. Time to show some leadership with all that experience you have under your belt. Talk to your team.

4 on 4 spelled disaster with how they’ve gained the zone and created space

Then again Toronto's PP is damn near bottom of the league with a stacked roster.

Kadri now minus 9 - by far the worst on team.

Was it Backlund’s birthday last night in Salt Lake City? I am wondering if they went out for a party just like in Vegas.

He's been pretty brutal this year. This is a bad team and all, but man some of these vets have to lead the way and show how to play, including stop giving the puck away. Can't even chalk it up to rookie mistakes, it's the vets.

lol nope, but that’s what I’m saying. More ice to cover meant more space for Utah

That’s (a) a huge exaggeration and (b) ignores how and when he gets the puck, which as noted a lot by people, is usually in a bad position, with no good options.
