This loss is not on Vladar, it’s the anemic offence that has killed the momentum from earlier in the season. Sharangovich’s shot is a welcome threat to turn this around.

I wonder if their insistence on this strategy is missing the forest from the trees a little bit.
I don't think you should sacrifice a year of a top prospect's early 20s for a shot at a mid round pick.

I'm not trying to pin it on him at all.
Simply saying he's not even close to a #1 goalie in the NHL, and this split needs to stop. Let Wofl eat at this point.

No complaints from me. I thought Calgary played well from the start. A few breakdowns against a team like Vegas, and the game runs away from you.
Tonight was a great example of why this team really needs that rebuild. Work ethic is admirable, but when the more talented team decides to work just as hard, it is a game that you usually can't win.

The swap of fast, enthusiastic, talented youngsters for middle-aged tweeners is what killed the momentum from earlier in the season.

How so? He's a 4th liner. They're a dime a dozen. He just happens to play on a really good team. If he was in San Jose you'd never hear about him.

Huby has his 10.5M.
Why wouldn't an uninspired person laugh?

They're a dime a dozen? 4th line players play an integral role sometimes. For example look at how much praise Lomberg and Kirkland have gotten by us.
He'd be on the 2nd line in SJ likely haha. He's playing with Keegan Kolesar and Nic Roy FFS. Not much talent there. What there is? Effort and winners.

No complaints? Seriously?
The Flames do have talent, maybe not Eichel or Stone level. Work ethic is admirable for Kirkland, Lomberg, Backlund, Coleman and the likes. They simply need more creativity and offense from the likes of Huberdeau, Kadri, Kuzmenko, Zary, Sharangovich.
Huska's solution is separating them all. This team sucks, just let some talented players try to form some chemistry. Might be the difference between a 3rd or 2nd round pick at the deadline for Kuzy/Mantha.

I saw a very good team imposing their will and completely suffocating a vastly inferior team, and no amount of ‘work harder, dummy’ was going to overcome that.
