If you play a style of game that dares the referee to make a penalty call, occasionally you're going to get a call against you.
I don't have a problem with Kadri playing that way, but I think he assumed he was immune after the 5 on 3. He miscalculated with an aggressive play, and he got burned.
Hard to get too mad when his goal tied it up, but the timing of that penalty was just really poor. Just pick your spots better, dude.

Its hard to call something dumb when everyone else on the ice is getting away with similar or worse. After a 5 on 3 kill no less. Jets got away with murder after their 5 on 3 kill.

I have no issue with the way that game was officiated. Flames took three obvious penalties towards the end of the game and got called on all of them.

The issue is the other team.getting away with worse...crosscheck on Zary, having his teeth knocked out ect.

Sure, but players also know missed calls one way don't mean calls will be missed the other way.
We all know bad officiating happens and Kadri does too. Gotta be smarter.
But they also are 100% correct to be pissed.
