I don't really care about the outcome, I just need to know what to do with my stonks. Sell now and go all cash?? How do I take advantage of this situation?

Sell it all, buy gold, bury it in your backyard. Live like a king in 10 years when the world is nothing but a smoking husk.

You just need to chill and play the long game. Both parties will run massive deficits IMO. One will try to stimulate through spending, the other through lower taxes.

Despite Trump's seeming momentum, it is still 50/50. Get out the vote efforts in a handful of states will determine the outcome IMO.

On the positive side, Canada will vote in Pierre so we’ll have the perfect subservient little Trump babe here to compliment our daddy down south and should successfully avoid any US invasion as PP kisses the toes of his master.

Or that’s the negative side.

Honestly pretty hard to tell but I’m kind of here for it anyway.

I kinda think Polievere wants Trump to lose? Canadian election is not till next October and Canadians still mostly despise Trump. Polievere will be on his knees for the Orange King, which will probably drive people away from him in Ontario and Quebec.

Oh good Trump is going on the Joe Rogan podcast. I'm sure he'll be asking important policy related questions about his economic agenda. If we're lucky he'll try eating mushrooms and somehow learn empathy.

Not sure what the advantage is here for Trump. Anyone listening to Rogan is already a Trump voter. This is essentially just gonna be another one of his Nazi rallies.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, set up a questionably-legal lottery to drum up swing state support for Donald Trump — a lottery that’s already fallen under regulatory scrutiny for its wanton use of cash. According to folks who have signed up, however, Musk may have found a way around those pesky laws: Simply not actually paying anyone.

LOL, so he either pays up, and breaks the law or doesn't pay and pisses off all the voters he was trying to get. Brilliant stuff.

A modern fall from grace rivaled only by the likes of Rudolph Giuliani and Bill Cosby.

Democrats are too divided at this point where I’m bracing for a Trump win. I hope I’m wrong, but it seems many are willing to lose the election because Harris isn’t their perfect candidate. It’s kinda weird to watch play out. Glad I have an exit plan should it go really sideways.

If Harris loses America will probably not nominate another women for the next 50 years.

This is my point...these guys get all smug when defending the polls and polling. Meanwhile aren't even willing to admit the polls are off if what they are saying doesn't happen. Margin of error is so large they are useless.

If Kamala loses I think people will look back at her embracing the Cheneys and going away from what was working, being progressive with the addition of Walz and for some reason abandoning the Republicans are weird strategy which was working very well.

I'd like to know who are actually answering these polls other than 70 year olds with land lines? I don't know a single person who ever answers polls, online or otherwise, or even answers their phone if it's not a number they recognize.

Trump having control of nukes was terrifying the first time, but at least there were guardrails still in place and a few sane individuals in the WH who kept him in check. That won't be the case this time, as his entire administration will no doubt be filled with loyal MAGA lunatics. The world will be in for a rough ride if he gets back into power, with Canada likely getting the worst of it.
