There’s no way Weegar didn’t hear that. He even lets up on the shot. It’s all good, but I see no problem with the penalty call.

Irrelevant, the Flames still controlled the play so the whistle should not have been blown because there was still a scoring threat. The officials don't even know the rules half the time.

There was no imminent chance. The puck got played back to the point, a pass was then made.
The refs got this right, and Weegs was just being a butthead. It’s fine.

I'm not a rules expert, but if a goalie has their mask knocked off it should be blown dead. For safety reasons.

There was no imminent scoring threat, so whistle appears legit to me. Weegar doesn't have puck yet when whistle is heard.
No problem with that penalty.

It's almost what happened in game 1 vs Vancouver when Vladar's mask came off. The only difference is they blew the whistle this time.
