I’m the opposite. Like the morning show but don’t like Steinberg.

My issue with Pat is that he takes 15 minutes to make one point and will repeat things, and say one point 6 different ways. It’s like 3 minutes of him talking a point that can be made in 10 seconds. I get that it’s radio but the way he drags out his talking points is insane. You don’t have to repeat and re-word the same point 5 times. Also way too vanilla / Flames friendly. It’s okay to have an opinion.

Barn Burner is the best sports/hockey podcast I listen to. The Gelinas interview a few weeks back was top notch and I'm always glad anytime I can hear Warrener's point of view.

I just skip the vacation, beer and NFL talk. Perfect.

He had a funny convo last week with Conroy, who was really grilling him over a conversation they had at Penticton where Pat was supposedly skeptical about Honzek. Pat sounded embarrassed and defensive haha.

That was awesome. Conroy sounded legit PO'd because Pat referenced a "conversation with someone at Subway" about Honzek in a previous segment and Conroy just flat out said he was the guy at Subway.

Also kind of awesome? The GM talking hockey at a Subway.

I just cant side with you here. Steinberg has cleaned up his game a lot and is usually pretty concise and if you listened to his colour commentary when he subbed in for Mikkelson he offered a lot of opinions without holding back.

The morning gamblers convention is godawful in comparison. The one remembering gaudreau might he the only good show they've done since the GOATs stepped down.

I’ve listened to the podcast since it started. It’s always better when they’re together. Thursdays epi was so good. This is the go to Flames media as far as I’m concerned. Nothing is close

If you’re fine listening to a day old show, they have time markers in the podcast and you can skip to sections you like.

Fully agree. And he takes huge amount of time to apologize for any opinion he ever has.
